Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us — seriously. We’re infosec people too, so we get it. This policy outlines how InfosecMania collects and uses information (spoiler: not much).
1. What Information We Collect
InfosecMania itself does not collect any personal information by default. We’re too busy cataloguing cool tools to worry about who’s visiting.
However:
- We may use basic analytics tools (like Google Analytics) to track general usage data — stuff like what pages are popular, what browser you’re using, and how long you stuck around.
- We do not require any sign-ups, logins, or personal data. No email, no password, no 2FA (because there’s nothing to access).
2. Data from External Resources
We link to third-party websites and resources that are already public. When you click on those, you leave our site — and step into their rules.
InfosecMania is not responsible for the practices, cookies, or popup overload you might experience elsewhere. Please check their privacy policies if you’re curious.
3. Cookies
We might use cookies for light session features or analytics. Nothing creepy — just the digital equivalent of a sticky note.
You’re free to disable cookies in your browser. The site won’t break (we tested it, promise).
4. Security
We care about security, and do our best to keep things safe. That said:
- This is a public, read-only directory. No user data, no login, nothing juicy to steal.
- We follow good practices — but we’re also realistic: no site is 100% bulletproof (and if they say they are, they’re lying).
- Stay aware, use VPNs, patch your systems, and please don’t run unknown scripts from random GitHub repos. 😉
